Is your phone jailbroken?

I'm just wondering. Mine used to be jailbroken but I accidentally removed it.

androids are pretty much jailbroken out of the box; there isn't really a jail.

you can root it though, which is basically further jailbreak.

p.s have you tried PCem yet?

Not yet. I do have old OSes in virtualbox though. That suits my needs enough at this point.

It's what I would consider "jailbreak"; there are a number of functions that I don't have full access to on my Samsung...in particular, a number of useless apps which are firm-loaded in, with no possibility of removal normally.

What is the best procedure for rooting AndroidOS? I know of a few possibilities.

@scooter I don't have an android so I don't really know.

You can consider this site though https://joyofandroid.com/android-root-software/
